NOTE:  These were the versions available as of writing this review.

 

Visit DJI's web site to download the latest versions.

 

Driver and software were installed on a Microsoft Windows XP operating system via Bootcamp on MAC and on a Netbook.

 

 


   

ACE ONE Driver

 

Uncompress the file.

   

Go into the directory that applies to your system.

   

Power up ACE ONE.

 

Run (double click) the Driver Setup.bat

   

Click "NEXT"

   

 
   

Click "Continue Anyway"

   

Click "Continue Anyway"

   

Click "Finish"

   
   

 

ACE Assistant Software

 

 

Uncompress the Ace Assistant software into a directory.

 

 

Run (double click) the Setup.exe file.

 

 

Click OK.

 

 

Click Next.

 

 

Default destination is ok.

 

If you want to change the destination click on Browse...

 

Click Next.

 

 

 

Click Install.

 

 

 

 

 

Click Finish.

 

 

A shortcut icon will be placed on your desktop.

 

 

Double click on the desktop shortcut and an intro to ACE Assistant will start.

 

Click SKIP->

Load previously saved ACE ONE configuration

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step-by-step setup up to System Check. 

 

Auto Pilot, Center Position and Gimbal must be configured separately.

 

 

Write data of the current page to the main controller.

When new value is entered the font is changed to bold & red characters.  This indicates where changes have been made and have not been written to the main controller. 

Read data from the main controller.

Write data from all the pages to the main controller.

Flight mode indication.  i.e.  Manual, Attitude, GPS Cruise

Gyro mode indicator and gain level.

Engine/Motor control indicator.

Flybarless status

 

 

 

 

When ACE ONE is not connected some controls are grayed out and connection status is red. 

 

Navigate through the configuration options to familiarize yourself with the options in each section.
